Having survived the sadistic and brutal dog race Ganta and Shiro are eating their entry prize. There is a quick skip to some nameless inmates talking about the race. Another cut to Ganta's cell which unlike the rest of Deadman Wonderland is nothing to look at, dull and grey with a bunk bed, a sink and a mirror. Another quick scene picks up the tension before we see a scene of Ganta and Yo. Eating ice cream. THEN THE RED MAN SHOWS UP... SHIT GETS REAL... 
Another scene skip and Ganta has got his ass in the hospital again. He does get a few bad ass lines here however which brings me to notice that Ganta gets a lot of moments like this. One minutes he's an absolute bumbling naive child the next he's an absolute tank.The cover up for the incident is said to be a human rights terrorist act. Makina however hasn't taken the bait and decides she want's Ganta Dead and sends the facility in to lock down, sending a rather goofy looking killing machine after him. A chase ensues allowing Shiro to come into her own, tearing stuff up and kicking the shit out of the robot. It's during their escape that they come across an elusive block that shouldn't exist. G Block...
Overall this episode is i interesting in the sense that it pushes the story on, giving us what I can only assume is a taste of what is to come in the rest of the series.
