I personally love this track, as I said before it's not big, it's not clever but it's fucking entertaining and so long as the band enjoy what their doing what else matters. It's a messy heap of fuck you to all the bands haters and a message to anyone who has had the door thrown in their face or to anyone who may have been thrown aside.

Spectre... Bond 24

Spectre has been named for the latest James Bond movie, a title which may hint at the direction the new movie may be going. The News was revealed at Pinewood Studios as Sony Pictures, EON and MGM lifted the lid on Daniel Craig's 4th Bond and the 24th in the series.

The film will see a number of returning stars alongside Craig for the movie as well as the addition of Ralph Fiennes as the new M. Andrew Scott of Sherlock, Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista fresh of Guardians of the Galaxy with Monica Bellucci as the new Bond lady are all set as new arrivals for the movie set for a release on the 6th of November 2015. A year already set to look absolutely bloody awesome.

roleplay tips...

I've previously mentioned this in a few of my posts but If you've not gathered by the title I am an avid role-player. At the heart of it all I role-play for escapism, this is a statement that is tossed about a lot particularly between those who have experience, what I mean by this is that many who stick to a set number of characters rather than creating new ones every time they start a new story tend to forget that their doing all the work.

For those of you who are new to role-play I'm not going to give you any in depth description as to what role-playing in this sense is about, go Google it or something and come back later...

For those of you who are left or if you've just decided to go along with it (in which case good luck) I'll just say this: I am by no means perfect, we all slip up and we all have different ways about things so if the posts I make don't give you the information or help you're looking for then I'm sorry, there are other places.

So with that out of the way I say goodbye to you. This will be a regular feature (I hope) as I am always looking for a good story to share and as such will always be finding new ways to improve on my characters and my created worlds.

BMTH- Drown

Have you heard the latest track from BMTH. I really don't know what to think about it... I think I like it but it's just so brimming with pop. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with metal bands taking the pop rout, every album that the band really just seems to make another jump in one direction or another and the jump in quality always goes up and from this video I can see that the trend is only continuing as it has done. The vocal work is incredible, If this had been reliesed two years ago I'd have been awestruck.

It's so awesome to see that we're just 12 views away from another milestone. Yesterday saw a beefy jump of 8 views in one day so If we can do that again I think we could make it to 500 before the new year...

What Happens now

   So I've not had much structure to post's lately, I've seen something and I've written about it, the last thing I did that had any real structure to it was my review of Watch Dogs. I had originally intended to review Destiny but that went out the door when a lovely person decided to take it off my hands without express permission so that's put a spanner in the works.
   So I'm still looking for a job but that does mean I do get more done on the computer which means more for you and I do have plans for the next few months involving reviews and a few guides on games as well alongside some other lovely things.
   After a rather dull summer for games we're now heading in to a good time, In the last three weeks alone we've had: Fifa 15, SSB-DS, The Evil Within and Alien Isolation. And it's only October, still to come we've got:

• Dragon Age Inquisition
• Far Cry 4
• WWE 2K15
• Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
• Assassins Creed: Unity
• Assassins Creed: Rogue
• SSB-Wii U 
• Pokemon Alpha and Omega
• The Crew
• Many many more...

Of course I won't be reviewing everything as I nether have the money or consoles to review everything. I am looking at Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition the most as I am a fan of both games. 

   As for other series and medias I've been toying with the idea of reviewing Bleach series by series...

SKYHARBOR - Patience (Official HD Audio - Basick Records)

This is the latest track from the phenomenal band Skyharbor. The track is taken from Guiding light Available on the 10th of November from Basik Records. This song is nothing short of beautiful with the incredible voice of Dan Tompkins creating an atmosphere that I haven't heard in a song in a very long time. I really can't wait for this now and I recommend anyone who enjoys metal a little different and a little softer to check these guys out and for anyone with a passion for music in general to listen to this peace, furthermore I'd like to recommend the video that they released yesterday for this track which is a stunning peace of art even without the music and something that I challenge you to watch without at least feeling a bit of a sting in you'r eye.

Destiny delay...

My copy of Destiny has "gone missing," unfortunately I won't be reviewing it until I get somewhere that I can give my full honest opinion.

Alien Isolation

Alien Isolation is out today and it looks phenomenal, a massive jump from last years abysmal turd heap that was Colonial Marine. For those who don't know you play the daughter of Helen Ripley, the badass no-fucks-given protagonist of the original 70's movies. And from all the gameplay footage I've seen it more than fits that dirty, dusty feeling that the classic original gave off right down to the subtle atmospheric music to the blinking lights of deep space vessels, as soon as I get a chance to play the game for myself I'll give you a full review. In the meantime I suggest a revisit to the original movie before donning you brown pants for one hell of a game.

A DAY TO REMEMBER

Going to see ADTR on the 14th of November in my hometown, just ten days after Asking Alexandria in Bristol so I'm going to have my work cut out for me. Don't forget to check out the latest albums for each of the respective bands, Common Curtsy and From Death To Destiny.

So after sweating it on Destiny for the better part of two weeks I have finally made it to the infamous level 20...

NOW SHIT GETS REAL...

Watch Dogs Review 360

This review has been in the works for ages so here it is...

If you've not at least heard of Watch Dogs then you have either spent the last two years under a rock or you're just not that into gaming but if you don't know Watch Dogs is a brand new sand box experience from Ubisoft and it's effectively the greatest aspects of all the companies recent successes rolled in to one with some extra stuff and a pretty next gen ribbon around it but as I will be reviewing it from the stand point of a poor last gen gamer I wont be going into how nice the graphics look as much as say elitist bastards like [CONTENT REMOVED FOR LEGAL REASONS].

So lets get this underway and get the shit bit out of the way in PRESENTATION-

The graphics are awesome and apart from the odd frame rate dip I've not encountered anything that can be called a glitch. Chicago and the outlying area while not being massive to the extent of GTA 5 or Skyrim is still comfortably large enough for a variety of activities to be available and yet not be crowded in to a small space. Central Chicago otherwise known as The Loop is an area where you will be spending a lot of your time and it's a good job that it rarely gets boring but for me it's the city outskirts that make the game interesting. 8/10

Story- Watch Dogs follows a talking trench coat Aiden Pearce, a hacker with nothing short of a rough past. After a job goes horribly wrong Aiden is targeted a stunt that rather than killing him kills his beloved nice. We join him two years after this tragic event, he's reluctantly in partnership with a fixer Jordie. Within an hour Aiden's sister is kidnapped by the man who he worked with in that fateful job he is given no choice but to work for the man he has come to mistrust. While nothing overly new or interesting the story is made interesting and at points exhilarating with the added component of hacking. 6/10

Gameplay- On the hole Watch dogs plays just like any other sand box experience. On foot you can run around the city taking in all there is to see and do from several unique city games that range from chess and poker to drinking games and gang hideouts. Anyone who gets bored in this game is clearly not trying hard enough. The key gameplay let down and one that impacted my enjoyment on the hole was the vehicle mechanics, even without the dynamic weather making the roads slick after a deluge driving is often like driving on roads of melting butter with the slightest shunt sending cars across in to oncoming traffic. This is something I slowly got used to but it just got a bit annoying even without my dislike for driving which in any game this size is a must if you have to travel even half the length of the game and as such I prefer to use motorbikes with their extra mobility.
   Combat is a blast mixing up all of Ubisofts best combat mechanics from the 'ard as nails gunplay found in Far Cry that mean you feel every shot to the tactical combat that make Tom Clancy games such a joy to play but unlike the most recent Clancy game Ubisoft have sorted out the cover system that let Future Soldier down. You'll combine guns, grenades, hacking and your surrounding to make every encounter a little bit different.
   And with that magical word mentioned we come to hacking, the selling point for the game and something Ubisoft spent ages to work on and thankfully it is awesome. Each new hack you unlock via the extensive skill tree leaves you wondering why you found that last hack so cool when this one is just so much cooler. Aiden is no COD bullet sponge and as such going in guns blazing is nigh impossible without hacking at least one or two things in the heat of combat. In my opinion though it's so much more fun to go in slow and quiet, hacking cameras and from there hacking electronic grenades that even if they throw away there is a fifty fifty chance that the explosive will blow something or someone else up unintentionally.  8/10

Online- When Ubisoft announced Watch Dogs they promised that the online portion of the game would be something a little different and while I've only played through an hour or so of online gameplay I can say that it is everything that was promised, online hacking is particularly exhilarating. In one session I waited in a car while I hacked in to a nearby target (another player) who spent a number of minutes running round like a headless chicken, 75%... 80%... 85%... It wasn't until the download had reached 94% that I was spotted and my target ran off in the nearest vehicle which happened to be a motorbike. It's extra peed and mobility meant that it got away leaving the download at 99%. Bummer. Other modes include races, and more traditional games of domination with the extra spice of hacking and downloading information and keeping it from the enemy team. 9/10

To conclude- Watch Dogs may be somewhat bland when it comes to story and characters, doing nothing more than giving your run of the mill action stars a place to run around but then Ubisoft never said the story was going to be revolutionary so for me at least i'm happy with it, when people call Watch Dogs a disappointment I feel my blood boil, call me a fanboy if you want but I personally like it, no it's not got the edge of your seat tear jerking feel of The Last of Us but what it does deliver is everything Ubisoft said it would so to conclude my first full length game review I will be giving Ubisoft's Watch Dogs a comfortable...

7.75/10 A good game with some hit or miss moments but otherwise an exiting thrill ride...

FUTURE PLANS...

Over the next few months I intend to pick up on activity, finalise the Watch Dogs review (which has been happening I just have other priorities like finding a job so I can by video games anime and booze), review at least one album which may or may not be Tesseract or as I shall now call them Tosseract thanks to Hacktivist (Craptivist). I may also look at a gig or two and of course some anime.

DESTINY IS FUCKING AWESOME

So I just got hands on with destiny and I fucking love it. As It isn't my copy I won't do a full review of it until I have my own and until I get a good portion in to the game. I played as a warlock using all kinds of badass space magic it was brilliant...

DESTINY top 5

So unlike Watch Dogs I only really gave a turd until I saw some of the crap you could do and only got exited when I say the live action and launch trailers. An practically over night I've gone from, "meh, if I see some stuff I like I'll pick up a copy," to "gimme dem special editions..." The issue with that plan is... I'm fucking skint... But if I wasn't I'd buy it on launch. Assuming that I do get it here are the five things that I'm looking forward to most about DESTINY.

5- Character creation/customisation- If you haven't noticed yet from a few of my other posts, I am a massive fan of rpg's especially when there is the option to customise and better still create your own character. There is something awesome about knowing that the chance of finding a character with exactly the same gear as you (even at lower levels) is massively slim, you can be sure that I will be spending hours on this element alone.

4- Class locked weapons or rather the lack of- A common annoyance with many rpgs and mmos is that weapons are often locked to specific class which as an adaptive player really pisses me off to no end. I was rather happy to find while playing the BETA that none of the main guns were set to different classes. Of course each class has it's own traits and abilities that make them unique.

3- Living environment- I mentioned something like this in my Watch Dogs Top 5, of course the two games are totally different in most aspects so each will do something differently. Bungi have made enthuses on community based activities such as Raids and Strikes (can't remember which is which) in which a team of players make their way through "dungeons" in search of rare loot. There is mention of the day and night cycle which on it's own is nothing new but how it impacts these group events is massive e.g. During the day we will see a large number of guards whereas the force is considerably lessened during the night which drives players to plan in advance as to how they are going to tackle the mission and when, especially as they are meant to be crazy hard.

2- Sparrows- these are the small speeder bike things that we've see a lot about, allowing quick traversing of the lengthy environments, I can imagine groups of friends racing these in the "free roam," exploration mode.

1- Evolving world- since the BETA there have been a few complaints that for an MMORPG Destiny is too small. A this point I don't want to say anything as I only played about five hours of the Beta. Bungi have said that there is only one area per planet but as the game goes on they will be expanding the world and giving players more to do. I have my doubts we will get anything major until November when the first expansion goes live.

NEW STUDENTS...

It's that time of the year again, students all over the world are making what may be the biggest leap of their lives, leaving home. Many many act tough, claiming that they aren't nervous but in reality their shitting themselves. I was when I left for residential college at an age where many wouldn't have even started to look at uni and I might have left a little brown one here and there but on the other side it felt great, I may have failed most of the courses I'd set out to complete but I can honestly say that nothing will make me forget those two year. More on topic now is the issue of food, some universities will have catering services an most will have something for during study time but the issue is then what do you do after that, with so many places to go and eat nowadays it's easy to go for the same place and the same thing every time. One alternative that I only really thought about because my mum asked me to go shopping was the idea of discount supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl. A few people may turn their noses up at the idea of discount foods but when you're paying £70+ a week for your room, £20+ a week on clubbing and generally being a student you don't have a massive amount of cash to spend on actually staying alive. Just 99p for a pack of noodles, 99p for seasoning you've got a very basic meal for less than some dodgy take away (one that is massively tempting to order from every time you pass it mind you but dodgy all the same). Most pizzas are under £2 for a good 6" meat feast. So next time you go shopping and you're paying £30 for your weekly shopping at Tesco you may have only payed £15 at Aldi.

40K 7th edition and a new army ???

This news caught me off guard a bit considering the fact that we've only been two years with 6th ed but then considering all the changes that have been made over the last few months from the revamped White Dwarf to the new look web site which I personally love it seems now that it was almost inevitable the question now is What are we getting for our starter box? I want to say that the unlikely ones are Nids, Orks and Chaos but Battle for Macragge was a decade ago. OMG I'm getting old... Anyway, Orks and Chaos are unlikely Nids are a maybe but what else is there: Demons would be cool as we've not seen them in a "game in a box," it's then a case of what god would be highlighted if not all of them (which in a small 500pt force would be tough and potentially dull) all I can say to that is praise Nurgle. There is also Necrons, Demons, Eldar and Dark Eldar, Tau (I doubt GW would include another Imperial army as this would be hard to justify).

7th edition is a bit different in a number of other ways most impressively for me is that It's not just one book any moor but three of the bastards. The first is the rules, the second is the fluff and back stories and the third is a rather impressive hobby section displaying some awesome photos and armies. What this means as a player is that you don't have to lug this fuck off massive tome around just the single rule book which is pretty awesome. I don't have a copy yet but as a the thing looks absoluitly spectacular I think I might have to. It might tempt me back into the gaming side of the hobby again as I haven't played a game in almost two years. What might also tempt me back in is the number of awesome new army re vamps there are, the one that caught my eye was the Imperial Guard or as they are now known Astra Millitarum.

Of course the first thing I'll be picking up is the Codex but after that, then what? You'll just have to fucking wait and see now won't you, you cheeky little turds.

Ok so I wanted to bring your attention to a band that I've been checking out for a while now consisting of former Attack Attack vocalist Caleb Shomo. The band's debut album is available on the 9th of June and I highly recommend you check them the fuck out on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Watch_Dogs Top 5

As a follow up to my last post in which I mentioned my interest in Watch_Dogs and will be collecting my copy tomorrow and to as a sneak peak for those of you who may have been living under a proverbial rock unless of course your name is Obito in which case you will have lived under a rock literally (too soon). Anyway I'm going to tell you the top 5 things I'm looking forward to in the game.

5- The challenge- so from what I've seen and heard so far this game isn't the easiest out there particularly when compared to other sand box games like GTA and Saints Row, while I have nothing against either game it's nice to see that there's some challenge to the game, I've seen people shot rather quickly. Note: COVER IS YOUR FRIEND.

4- Car chases- I'm not normally one for races even in massive games like GTA I'd rather run around and have fun on the way than drive but having seen the detail on the cars and the fun that can be had in police chases using Aiden's awesome hacking abilities.

3- Seamless online- So a massive part of the "Watch_Dogs experience" was how the online features were integrated with the single player aspects of the game as "contracts."

2- The living city- Everyone has a dark side, that is one of the games over riding messages and as such you can profile every citizen with your uber phone and everyone has something to say, some more than others.

1- AA 12- OMGTIFA. Maybe I'm just sad and don't play COD or Batlefield enough to know that the gun is in every game nowadays but I haven't seen it so meh. FULL AUTO SHOT GUN MOFO...

Now what?

So that massive mother of a project what now?

Watch Dogs... that is your answer. It's been out for a week nearly but I'm poor and could not afford to buy it on release as I had wanted and the fact that I had pre-ordered it at a store about 175 miles away from where I was currently staying.

Tomorrow however I (should) have money and as such I will be buying the Vigilante edition...

You lovely buggers should have the first part of a review within a week alongside some tips and tricks I've learnt along the way.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 30.......... AND SO IT ENDS

Surprise surprise it took two months for this to be finished but at least it's finished.

DAY 30- Hottest female- This as expected opinions like the red sea (An atheist making a non offensive bible joke. fucking crazy right) but the final winner was The Major from the anime classic Ghost in the Shell...

Major Motoko Kusanagi is not one to be fucked around for the simple reason that her hugely superior cybernetic enhancements will literally tear you limb from limb unless you a fuck off massive armoured super tank in which case she may strain herself until her own arms explode (spoilers). "Kusanagi is not only smokin' hot and she knows it but she isn't bothered by pesky problems like criminals or corrupt politicians, I'm not going to go into that scene in the manga."

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 29

DAY 29- Hottest male- With the Kerrang Awards now less than a week away I decided to close this off in style. These last two however have had no input by myself, everything you see here is the opinion of others, I will simply try to justify these opinions so without further delay...

This one was somewhat unexpected: Alucard from Hellsing with Sebastian (Black Butler). While not my first choice I can see why he would be for others. "He's a badass. Plane and simple," was one answer to the choice, "he's a thousand years old at least and his voice actor has a mother of a no fucks given accent."

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 28

 DAY 28- Anime cringe moment- I'm a huge fan of horror and the idea of a horror anime has always interested me but. It just doesn't work does it? Part of what makes a good horror is realism which just doesn't work and while anime has the potential to be really disturbing it often falls short of doing so but there is one anime that contained a scene that really did get to me. The only thing that really gets to me is nails being pulled more than they naturally are able, I think it's something to do with the how delicate the human nail actually is. With it also being Higurashi, an anime that does a convincing job of contorting facial features to make the horror of the event really hit home.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 27

DAY 27- Best anime setting- just about every Miyazaki film could take this spot if not every Ghibli film but there has to be one so as one of the most visually arresting films I can think of this goes to Spirited away. Anime fan or not I can not bring myself to fully trust anyone who hasn't at least seen part of this film (that doesn't mean I don't love my parents, I just don't trust them). A film that can be taken as anime's (original) answer to Alice in Wonderland with it's opening ten minutes coaxing your jaw open where it hangs inches from the floor for the remainder of the film, as it grabs you again and again with it's visuals, story telling and character development. The setting is astounding mixing classic Japanese architecture and mythology.

I swear I'm not a fanboy.
Okay maybe just a little.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 26

DAY 26- Anime based on games- It's no secret that most anime series based on games suck big time. The issue is a simple one. They over think it, It's all well and good taking a massively popular game like Dead Space or Mass Effect and turning it in to a half arsed money grabber, totally another to make something at least half watchable. I should mention that I did enjoy the first Dead Space tie in, the second installment however was absolutely shite. A game I would however love to see as an anime with the right team behind it would be Dark Souls. Done right this dark, gothic IP would make one hell of an anime with the same potential as Berserk. Of course it couldn't be a movie or even a series of movies. It would have to be at least 24 episodes long to fit in all of the rich mythology and horror tinged lore.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 25

DAY 25- Manga I want to watch- No I'm not intentionally being an awkward twat, I'm talking about the numerous awesome manga titles out there that could be turned into some awesome anime. I've been reading the Shinji Ikari raising project and thought that it would be absolutely brilliant as an anime for those (like myself) who come away from an Evangelion marathon feeling a bit heavy. ling a bit heavy.

So once again I've screwed up, not as spectacularly this time but still. In my defense I've been ill for the last week so haven't been able to finish things up but and that's a big round, tender butt...

 I am putting in a deposit for the Vigilante edition... YOU WILL GET A REVIEW...

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 24

DAY 24- Most intense anime- There are a million and one anime out there that keep you on the edge of your seat but between this one and Evangelion no others do it better. The anime I'm talking about is a newcomer to this list... KARAS.

The action in this unappreciated anime is exhilarating in its not too shabby 3D rendering and oh if it weren't for the slow-mo work. I often find that a film can realise that this technique works once and just over use the fuck out of it and as someone with a visual impairment it gives me a mother of a headache but Karas doesn't over do it in the slightest, using it only to highlight really key moments and center peaces. It's an easy enough series (or films for some including myself in the UK) but contains a tone of otherworldly besties from Japanese folklore and mythology, many of which seem to have crawled out of a Ghibli movie.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 23

DAY 23- The anime I just can't get enough of- This was a no-brainer simply for the series use of unexpected mythology and folklore, pack in a twisting story and a plethora of crazy fight sequences and what do you get? Bleach, this is a series that at first I wasn't too sure of,.I just didn't get the whole freak of the week thing done in such a short time, even when it fleshed out another character. So it wasn't until the end of series 1 after a tone of stopping and starting that I found myself thoroughly enjoying the experience to find it end on a mother of a cliffhanger. I have to say that there are some issues with the pacing and the annoying filler episodes but unlike other shonen series *cough*Naruto*cough* these filler episodes do something to expand a complex universe filled with some awesome characters and spectacular worlds and is again a great anime for beginners.

While I did ask for an entire character roster I somehow don't think that that's everyone.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 22

DAY 22- Well that was odd, the strangest anime- Well I've seen some messed up anime over the last few years, Black Rock Shooter, Poni Poni Dash, Lucky Star; the infamous Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to name just a few but personally the one that sticks in my head as just plain wtf? Ranma 1/2. A guy who turns into a girl when splashed with water.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 21

DAY 21- Most awesome vehicle- This for me was an instant winner. The Tachikoma from Ghost In The Shell. Their just so damn awesome (apart from their frankly aggravating AI voices), While not as shooty, killy (yes that's the official term) as many of the other vehicles in the GITS franchise these are some of the coolest. With the ability to be both manned tank stoppers and unmanned drones they are incredibly versatile with an added boost of good not-so-fashioned thermoptic camouflage, rendering them both invisible to both the naked eye and heat sensing vision such as advanced sniper scopes. Their armor however isn't the best which does beg the question: WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY BRIGHT BLUE...?

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 20

DAY 20- Beginners recommendation- This would have to be Naruto Shipuden. A series that I seem to jump in and out of and one that got me started on anime (Or rather the original series). Shipuden continues off from the original 220 episode run that drove me insane and took me a good three years to finish (not least because of the bloody filler episodes that did nothing for the story or characters). For those who are reading this for recommendations; don't bother with Naruto part 1, read the manga. even now I look back on it and think that it was alright.

Naruto Shipuden is still rife with annoying filler but it is still good enough to watch, and is reasonably enjoyable if you skip the shit. As a beginners anime it's a good mix of easy to handle shonen storytelling and some pretty impressive action set peaces.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 19

DAY 19- The next anime I intend to watch- Wolf Children has been all over the internet lately, Manga entertainment did a tweet along for the film, which I just read along to hating myself for not having a copy. So yeah, it's just a movie but one I've been dying to watch.

DAY 18- Guilty pleasure anime- I first watched this anime at South west anime in Plymouth, though unable to read the subtitled the bright visuals and over the top animation style was enough to make sense of what the hell was happening.

DAY 17- Most disappointing ending- this goes to Saikano for an ending that went: poof... goodbye and good night.

DAY 16- Most annoying cliffhangers- This had to be CODE GEASS, there was a point in the anime where I just thought: screw you guys I'm going home, I could almost call it emotional torture.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 15

DAY 15- Anime I want to see more of- This could be an anime I don't think had a good enough ending or there is more source material to be explored. I'm going to Say The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. There is so much more to be done with it with both the manga and the novels.

DAY 14- best weapon- The black rock cannon. Why?

and the fact that a weapon is at least as awesome as it is impossible to wield and going on the fact that this boomstick is held by a child makes it pretty awesome.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 13

DAY 13- Most re-watched anime- This one speaks for itself and this one is a tie between Saikano and Gunslinger girl as both have been watched 20 times but I'm picky and want a winner so I'm going to include all series and OVA's allowing GSG the victory here.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 12

DAY 12- WTF moment? Here I'm talking about a scene that made me go wtf and as for most anime fans there are many. For this I'm going to choose a scene that made me think wtf in multiple ways. It's a scene that has become well known with fans of this anime. The scene in question: Aizen stabs Momo, one of the most aggravating scenes within the first quarter of the anime (Bleach for the few who may not know). First off, it is simply common sense to at least be a little suspicious if you are let in to a place you have never been allowed to be in where you find a lot of dead people and find someone who is meant to be dead. In some sense she was asking to get hurt. Stabbed though, no quite.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 11

DAY 11- Favorite recent anime? By this I mean my favorite anime of the last year. This is a hard one to complete as I personally haven't watched many recent anime (though as a reviewer I know that I should). Attack on titan took the world by storm so much so that Production I.G's other production Ghost in the Shell: Arise was almost brushed aside in terms of popularity and it's no wonder why. The story was excellent and the graphics were awesome and a pluss for me at least was that it was violent as hell.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY10

DAY 10- Most recent anime? By this I mean the anime I watched most recently which would be Dragon Ball Z as I attempt the now long and arduous slog through the last ten episodes of the freza saga. 

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 9

DAY 9- The series that got me into anime? The first anime that I watched knowing that it was anime was Naruto. A series that after so long got tiresome with what must have been nearly 100 episodes of filler material in the original series alone. And while I do still go back to it every once in a while I only seem to find myself watching about twenty episodes at a time before those dreaded fillers drive me away for another few months which is why I have found I tend to enjoy the games much more as they are hard as nails at times and still give players the core story with out all the fluff and bullshit.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 8

DAY 8- Favorite lead character- Edward Elric, while having numerous badass moments he's still human at the end of the day, he has his strengths and he has his flaws and damn I though my brother was a pain in the ass, if i had Al for a brother I'd have gone nuts long ago. As a lead character though he never ceases to amuse. He has his comedic moments and his serious moments but at the same time he also manages to pull on a few heartstrings. He affects everything around him not just his friends and family but quite often the fans and that's what makes his character so special. Put simply he's not only my favorite character because of his character but how he interacts with the audience albeit indirectly.

30 DAY ANIME CHALLENGE DAY 7

DAY 7- Favourite supporting character? - this was tough as I often find myself liking the supporting cast more than the main roster. So for this it was a tight fight between, Momo Hinamori (Bleach), Lieutenant Tetsu (Saikano) and Reki (Hidan no Aria). So as these are among my favourite shorting characters and that honest to the gods that may be, it has taken me a day to decide I will go into all three characters individually and then give you lucky people my final verdict.

   In a show full of nutters and people who logically shouldn't be able to do what they do Momo stands out as rather normal, the situation she gets herself involved with is on the outside something visually entertaining but on a deeper level we've all been there. Trusting someone only for them to disappear an reappear out of the blue to stab you in the back (or gut as it were). It is soul destroying (pun not intended) when you trust someone only to be thrown aside like a bit of shit on their shoe that is why Momo is one of my favorite supporting characters in anime.

   Tetsu was just plain entertaining, he was such a dick at times and a good man in others and keeping with the series theme of be who you are he doesn't act up to people he is just a great character and his death was a punch in the balls especially after reading the manga to find out that he was killed by Frienchies. He's just a general badass. I just wish he'd had a bigger part in the series because he was an interesting character, it would have been interesting to get a bit more insight into his other relationship (the one involving a walking killing machine, barely old enough to drink). Better still an OVA cented around him rather than some whiny bitch.

   With a tag line like "I am a single bullet" how could I not include this Dragunov wielding badass, a friend of mine even compared her to Bleach's Hitsugaya which given some thought is easier to see that you'd originally think. There's not a huge amount you can say about her as unlike the other two characters on this list she's somewhat of an enigma.

   To conclude I'm going to have to give the number 1 spot to Momo for simple fact of how much I and so many other people I've spoken to could relate to her as a character.

To Counterbalance the two small pictures of badasses I had to find the cutest pic I could find and this is pretty damn cute.
